For Thai Citizens (Including LGBTQIAN+ Couples After the Law Takes Effect)
1. Thai National ID Card or Passport
2. Two Witnesses (One from Each Party)
For Foreign Nationals
1. Certificate of Single Status Issued by the Home Country
If Registering in Thailand (at a District Office):
1.1 Certificate of Single Status from the Home Country:
Must be authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the home country.
Must be certified by the Thai Embassy/Consulate in that country.
Translated into Thai and authenticated by the Department of Consular Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand.
1.2 Certificate of Single Status Issued by a Foreign Embassy/Consulate in Thailand:
Must be translated into Thai.
Authenticated by the Department of Consular Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand.
If Registering at a Thai Embassy/Consulate Abroad:
Certificate of Single Status from the Home Country:
Must be authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the home country.
Submitted to the Thai Embassy/Consulate in the respective country.
2. Passport
3. Parental Consent (If Either Party Is Under 20)
4. Two Witnesses (One from Each Party)
